President / COO

The President’s position is the highest executive position in the company. The President is charged with implementing the vision set by the Board, of which they are a member. The President will lead the company’s strategic planning with the goal of maximizing return and minimizing risk for the company.

The President is responsible for setting up goals and measurable standards of performance for each department and then measuring that performance against the strategic goals of the organization. He/she is responsible for reporting out the results of the organization to the Board regularly. He/she is responsible for identifying and recruiting the highest quality employees, establishing company wide systems and procedures for reporting, project controls, financial controls, and employee relations. The President shall display the highest level of professionalism, organizational and communication skills. He/she must be thoroughly versed in the operations of the company at all times, and stay abreast of the latest in construction techniques, quality assurance, safety and margin improvement techniques.

General Responsibilities

  1. Oversees and supports all aspects of operations and construction management processes.
  2. Works with Construction Managers and Regional Managers to conduct constructability analysis to eliminate plan discrepancies, contradictions or issues.
  3. Conducts feasibility analysis to ensure the design of the project may be built for the cost outline on the project starter budget.
  4. Assists in finding new vendors for purchasing coordinators.
  5. Responsible for managing approvals on all purchase orders and ensuring they are within the budget.
  6. Participates in scope generation with purchasing coordinators and construction managers to ensure accurate scope of subcontractor estimates.
  7. Streamlines and improves existing operational processes of the following; scope management for bids campaign, new vendor generation, review and auditing process of bids received and cash flow management.
  8. 90-day budget forecasting and execution; assists with creating and updating of company cash flow and execution of the cash flow goal.
  9. Maintain and review the Core Operating Process.
  10. First support to Business Development and Senior Vice President.
