For a residential construction company in Thousand Oaks, we are looking for an experience Office Manager with formal digital skills to bring our seasoned teams and clients together for great projects.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years experience working in an construction office and strong verbal and digital communication skills.  We are looking for a reliable, highly-organized office manager who can help run a multi-million dollar small office that encourages quality teamwork. Two week cross training period provided.

Responsibilities and Duties, including but not limited to:

  • Daily oversight of office, including VOIP phones, mail, e-mail, crew scheduling, customer invoicing (SOV), purchase orders, payables (QuickBooks), permit submittals, rebate and utility interconnection processing, and repairs.
  • Must to be able to maintain 20+ projects in different phases of construction daily.
  • Proficient at downloading smartphone pics, texts and data and entering data into Salesforce.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5+ years previous residential office construction experience. (Electrical or Solar Exp. Preferred)
  • Detail-oriented person with the skills and commitment to support installation crews.
  • Good with interface with general contracting clients.
  • Ability to multi-task between customer and company needs.
  • Exceptional communication skills, reliability and advanced computer skills are essential. (Excel, Salesforce, Outlook, digital filing, Pictures, etc.)
  • Must be able to handle residential construction contracts, Sales Tax, scheduling, invoicing, CO’s, purchasing, mechanics liens and online permitting processing.
  • Proven organizational skills and construction project management experience is required.
  • Positive, outgoing, mature nature and a good sense of humor in stressful situations are pluses.

This is a temp-to-Hire position
Salary: $20-30/hr (DOE)
