PrideStaff is working with a respected General Contracting company located in Arnold, MO who specializes in design/build of commercial & institutional, industrial, religious, educational and sports & entertainment projects to locate an experienced ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER with previous job responsibilities experience similar to that listed below.  Direct Hire.

- Read and interpret project specifications and plans to determine detailed and comprehensive quantity surveys
- Obtain accurate take off and pricing for all labor, materials and equipment
- Perform conceptual estimating from preliminary project parameters
- Prepare clear, complete and competitive estimates, general conditions and bid packages
- Develop detailed estimates based on the plans and specifications
- Understand timelines and applicable project deadlines
- Participate in pre-construction meetings
- Conduct daily project management of awarded projects
- Collaborate with owner, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to create a construction schedule
- Develop an organizational and responsibilities matrix at the start of each project and determines the resources needed for the project (e.g., labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors), throughout the project
- Review the contract documents with all project participants (e.g., subcontractors, suppliers, government regulators, utilities) to ensure quality work is completed on time and within budget

- Must have previous Estimating / Project Management experience
- Must have successfully managed previous projects in a profitable manner
- Effective interactions with project partners, subcontractors and vendors
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Prior Sage (Timberline) estimating software experience strongly preferred
- Proactively assume responsibility and be highly motivated to bring success to all projects   
- Willing to make decisions under tight deadlines and able to solve difficult problems.  Willing to challenge the status quo with sound logic when appropriate.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- 4 year college degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field 
- 5+ years of progressive work experience estimating for a commercial general contractor
