Customer Service/Data Entry 

Order Processing for Distribution Company

Near AT&T Center - $12/hr Day Shift (8-5)  - Temp to Hire


Position Summary:

Maintain and provide internal support for the maintenance of orders to make ready for processing.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for review and correction of all order types submitted by sales personnel
  • Communication with sales personnel including sales management
  • Timely and accurately keying sample orders submitted by sales management
  • Daily reporting of all blocked items/orders for next day delivery
  • Keying items/orders and also editing orders when required.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • 10 key by touch
  • Data Entry
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications , Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
  • High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 10 key by touch
  • Good tenure

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical demands with activity or condition existing a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor)
  • Physical demands may include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling
