Job Description

Customer Service Agent

9 am – 6 pm in Fort Lauderdale. Pay rate: $11.25, plus monthly bonus

Must be able to pass a background and credit check

Job Summary

Customer Service Agents are responsible for retaining long-term quality clients and optimizing profitability for the company by executing product fulfillment and serving systems that fulfill the customers’ needs, meets expectations, as well as the company’s financial objectives.

Primary responsibilities

  • Answer incoming telephone call from customers and verify account information  
  • Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media
  • Assist with processing orders, refunds, or exchanges
  • Advise on company information
  • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers
  • Answer questions about certificate terms and conditions
  • Act as the company gatekeeper
  • Assist customers with website support in processing their requests
  • Attempt to persuade customers to reconsider cancellation
  • Inform customers of deals and promotions
  • Make outbound calls in conjunction with campaigns
  • Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes
  • Work with customer service manager to ensure proper customer service is being delivered
  • Utilize the system to track all call dispositions
  • Provide feedback to supervisor as to any customer’s feedback
  • Follow and read from scripts
  • Any additional duties as requested

Other Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use Windows operating system to navigate between various screens
  • Experienced in overcoming difficulties and using logical problem solving skills
  • Highly motivated Self-starter who can also work well as part of a team to obtain company goals
  • Ability to manage change effectively in a fast-paced sales environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year Call Center experience required
  • Bi-Lingual(Spanish) a plus
  • Experience in sales preferred
  • High School diploma or GED
