Job Description



Need experienced, strong dependable team players to put in this room.

1st Shift 

 Job Summary:   Responsible for operating cook kettle using a standard formula for the preparation of food products.

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Set up equipment for production

2.     Place ingredients in kettle according to set formula

3.     Maintain accurate processing records, including time and temperature

4.     Maintain cleanliness of work area

5.     Assist all other cook room positions

6.     Follow all plant safety regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices

Required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.


Job Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Food processing/handling experience preferred.

Visual, auditory, and hand dexterity. Full body mobility.  Adequate reading/language, writing, and math skills. Able to work in varied temperature environments (0-50 deg.). Good hand/eye coordination. Heavy lifting required, some over 50lbs. Continuous movement, and must be able to stand for long periods of time.
