Job Description:

  • Ensures program costs are monitored and EAC problem areas are identified, and corrective action is performed.
  • Evaluates and approves quotes.  Insures that pricing backup is adequate and realistic. 
  • Monitors costs to insure budget commitments are met and problem areas are identified and quickly corrected.
  • Works with all organizations in the company to develop budgets. Monitors and reports on cost status to internal operating groups and the Division president.
  • Plays a key role in insuring that the division's financial and non-financial goals are achieved.
  • Work with all organizations in the division to encourage, develop and support use of cost-effective tools.
  • Productively supports negotiations, audits, rates, renegotiations, government overview activities.
  • Provides accurate and timely reporting to the VP Finance, Division President and Corporate.
  • Works with the VP Finance, and Division President to strategize financial issues, and makes recommendations as appropriate.
  • May manage key resources in the financial organization to ensure functions perform effectively and on budget.
  • Develops strong and effective staffing. Utilizes rigorous standards for performance evaluation. Implements internal training, counseling and constructive use of objectives.
  • Keeps the VP Finance and Division President well informed and anticipates and solves problems as they arise.
  • Participates with other staff members as a team to achieve division objectives.


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • CPA required.
  • 10 years progressive experience in financial analysis.
  • Preference given to individuals with experience cost accounting obtained in a manufacturing organization.
  • Must have experience working with the DCAA and government accounting.
  • Must have supervisory experience.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.
  • Must possess strong computer skills in Excel including pivot tables. Word and Power Point are highly desired.

Pay $105,00-115,000 DOE
