Customer Service Representative- Life Insurance

We are partnering with their corporate office in order to identify a Customer Service Representative to join the Licensing and Application Department!  In this role, you will work directly future and current Independent Agents in order to ensure and maintain compliance with their life insurance licensing.  This role will require a very high attention to detail within a fast-paced environment.  You will be helping life insurance agents to become licensed and then appointed with a variety of life insurance carriers.

Job Description:

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
  • Follow communication 'scripts' when handling different types of calls
  • Engage with field offices, paperwork including state insurance license, proof of E&O insurance and any other documentation.
  • Continuously monitor appointment paperwork and proactively solve issues.
  • Process paperwork quickly and efficiently.

Job Requirements:

  • 1-year of experience in a call center or similar work environment
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • High energy and excellent attitude
  • Team environment
  • Knowledge of insurance licensing is strongly preferred
  • Organized, self-starter; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
