Job Description

PrideStaff is seeking a ASSEMBLY MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN for a Optical company in North County.

Temporary to hire

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process product through the assembly line as indicated per travelers, drawings or work instructions.
  • Perform optical inspections and measurements of products to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Run packaging assembly equipment, including but not limited to flip chip bonders, wire bonders, plasma cleaners, adhesive dispensing and laser marking.
  • Enter pertinent data into log files and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for appropriate lot and data tracking.
  • Assist Production and Process Development Engineers in building complex Opto/electronic interconnected products.
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams on equipment, product or process issues/improvements

Skills/Education

  • Technical Associates degree preferred, Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • 4+ years in optoelectronic semiconductor assembly preferred.
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Able to read blue prints
  • Must demonstrate excellent communications skills, be able to read, comprehend and execute complex instructions
  • Experience in semiconductor packaging assembly processes a plus
  • Good manual dexterity and micro manipulation skills required
