Job Description

Fresno Client in need of an full- time Administrative Clerk starting pay $12.00/hr.

SUMMARY:     Under limited supervision the administrative clerk will provide a wide range of clerical support for the Executive Department. Experience with MS PowerPoint strongly preferred.

ESENTIAL DUTIES:

  1. Add new material to file records, and create new records as necessary.
  2. Answer questions about records and files.
  3. Assign and record or stamp identification numbers or codes in order to index materials for filing.
  4. Eliminate outdated or unnecessary materials, destroying them or transferring them to inactive storage according to file maintenance guidelines and/or legal requirements under the direction of the Executive Assistant.
  5. Enter document identification codes into systems in order to determine locations of documents to be retrieved.
  6. Perform periodic inspections of materials or files in order to ensure correct placement, legibility, and proper condition..
  7. Scan or read incoming materials in order to determine how and where they should be classified or filed.
  8. Sort or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order.
  9. Perform general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, and sorting mail.
  10. Various clerical duties including typing, faxing, photo copying, data entry

Other duties as assigned by Executive Assistant, and/or other management.
