Accounts Payable Specialist

We have a client in San Ramon who has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Specialist with recent experience in the construction industry. 

Duties include:

  • Full Cycle Accounts Payable
  • Checks and approves all vouchers for payment
  • Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary
  • Prepares accounts payable checks
  • Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files
  • Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
  • Communicate effectively with Client(s), Subcontractors, Sub-tiers, and Suppliers accounting staff to resolve and maintain monthly billing issues and approvals
  • Processing pre-liens from Subcontractors and suppliers
  • Track and request Lien Releases
  • Preparation and processing of loan draws

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications - Excel skills required
  • Detailed oriented with outstanding follow through
  • 3 years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience
